Review by Coach Diane Gittins

10 Minute Trainer is designed for those who have daily time constraints and generally find it difficult to incorporate exercise to their lifestyle. Each of the workouts are designed to be completed in only 10 minutes, and are well suited for mothers like me and I’d also say busy professionals too. Lack of time is one of the most cited reasons for not consistently working out, I know as I was one of ‘those people’ but the 10 Minute Trainer addresses this problem by offering high tempo, intense and targeted exercise sessions.

The creator of the program, Tony Horton incorporates  “Super Stacking” which is essentially high tempo cardiovascular movements “stacked” with the use of a resistance band to force the muscles to expend more energy. This approach is designed to burn the highest amount of calories within the shortest period of time. In addition, this approach facilitates an increase in lean muscle mass and strength, improves cardiovascular endurance, and improves coordination, balance and flexibility. 10 Minute Trainer is an all rounder and good for beginners or those who are trying out an exercise routine for the first time.

10 minute trainer resultsAs you can see, I’ve stacked my 10 Minute Trainer results alongside my 21 Day Fix Results. I did 21 Day Fix in January which helped me to lose 20 inches and 12 lbs, along with drinking my Shakeology daily. I then achieved further results and I’m able to maintain my shape / size in just 10 minutes per day.

I love 10 Minute Trainer as an entry level, time saving program. The option to stack blocks of 10 minute workouts on top of each other is also a great idea. It’s a good motivator knowing it’s only 10 minutes. Some people can spend more than 10 minutes thinking about whether to exercise or not! With this its just in you go…BOOM, and done!
